For Rising Minds this month our theme is around The Future of Mental Health. In Sydney on Thursday 31st May we are exploring "Mind-Reading Machines" with Dr Kit Huckvale from The Black Dog Institute.
How would you feel if your mobile phone was reading your mood? What if it could predict the risk of a future mental illness? The tech that will equip machines with empathic powers already exists in research labs.
Explore how our digital lives are generating the raw material that will power the empathic revolution, and how this stands to transform not just the way we care for mental illness, but humans and machines interact.
Dr Kit Huckvale is Research Fellow in eHealth at the Black Dog Institute, and he will be helping us unpack this tricky issue as part of our global series exploring The Future of Mental Health.
