Professor Susan Thompson, Urban Planner and Head of the City Wellbeing Program at City Futures Research Centre, UNSW, joined Rising Minds Sydneyl to discuss how the places where we live, work and play profoundly impact on our health.

How will smart planning shape the cities of the future so that they are supportive of human and planetary health into the 21st Century?

Susan spoke passionately about the need to plan for movement, the production of food and the facilitation of community as part of any healthy city, providing rich examples of cities who are already doing this well.
